FREE RANKING POLL

Make a ranking poll your friends actually finish.

A regular poll asks for one favorite. A ranking poll asks for the whole list. Everyone ranks their own Top 10 from your options, points add up, and the group gets one official ranking.

Free. No credit card. Build it before you even sign up.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. STEP 1

    ADD THE OPTIONS

Paste the options to rank, then choose how long each list is. Top 3, Top 10, Top 25. Your call.

  2. STEP 2

    INVITE THE RANKERS

Add friends by username or email. Everyone ranks privately, so nobody copies anybody.

  3. STEP 3

    TALLY THE POINTS

On a Top 10, 1st place is worth 10 points and 10th is worth 1. When everyone is in, the points decide the order and every list is revealed.

The long version: how a ballot works.

WHAT YOU GET

RANKED, NOT PICKED

One vote per person tells you a favorite. A ranked list tells you the order, which is the part people actually argue about.

SECRET UNTIL IT CLOSES

Nobody sees anybody else’s list until the last one is in. No bandwagons.

WHO AGREED WITH WHO

The results show each person’s closest match in the group. Find your bestie. Find your nemesis.

FAIR TIEBREAKS

Two options on the same points? The one with more first-place votes wins.

QUESTIONS

How does the scoring work?

On a Top 10 list, 1st place is worth 10 points, 2nd is worth 9, down to 1 point for 10th. Anything left off a list gets nothing. Add up everyone’s points and that is the official order.

Is it free?

Yes. Making a ranking poll, inviting friends, and ranking are all free. No credit card, no premium tier.

How is this different from a regular poll?

A regular poll collects one choice per person. A ranking poll collects everyone’s whole ordered list, so the result is a full ranking instead of a single winner and a pile of ties.

Do people need an account to rank?

Yes, a free one. That keeps it to the people you invited, one list each, and lets reminders go out to whoever has not ranked yet.

How many options can a poll have?

Up to 300 options, and lists from a Top 1 to a Top 50. The option pool just needs at least as many options as the list is long.

Can I start building before I sign up?

Yes. Set up the whole poll first. When you hit Create, you sign up and your poll comes back exactly as you left it.

SETTLE IT

It takes about a minute, and the argument has been going on for years.
