CHALLONGE ALTERNATIVE
A Challonge alternative for brackets decided by votes.
Challonge is a tournament tool. Players play matches, somebody reports the result, the bracket advances. That is perfect for a tournament. It is a strange fit for "best Pixar movie," where nobody plays anybody and the result is whatever your friends think.
WHEN CHALLONGE IS THE RIGHT CALL
Running a Smash tournament, a ping-pong ladder, or a league night where people actually play each other? Use Challonge. It is built for exactly that, and it is good at it.
WHEN YOU WANT VOTES INSTEAD
If the matchups are opinions, not games, you want a bracket your friends vote on. On Draft Whatever, everyone you invite votes each matchup, winners advance on their own, and the last entry standing is the champion. Free, any size from 4 to 199.

QUESTIONS
Is Draft Whatever free?
Yes. Brackets, drafts, and ranking polls are all free to make and play. No credit card, no premium tier.
Can I run a real tournament on Draft Whatever?
Not really, and we would not pretend otherwise. There is no score reporting. Matchups are decided by votes. For a tournament where people play each other, a tournament tool is the better pick.
How do ties work in a voting bracket?
A coin flip decides a tied matchup, and the bracket marks it COIN FLIP. It is the only tiebreaker that cannot be gamed or stall the bracket.
